Patricia Urquiola, who is called as a design reward, is a designer who shows great performance in various fields such as furniture, interior, architecture, and product design. Her current lead studio Urquiola was founded in 2001 and is now introducing its own new design through collaboration with several global companies. In this project, we planned a new interaction design that would further highlight their creative design identity. The classic feel of serif typeface highlights the luxurious image of the products, and the design is based on achromatic background so that the unique colors of each product do not distract attention. Her philosophy, "Design that focuses on the essence but crosses the limits," was captured through the layout, and her strength, "Research on Textiles," was further highlighted through furniture and product-oriented design.
디자인 대가로 불리우는 파트리시아 "우르퀴올라는" 가구, 인테리어, 건축 , 제품 디자인 등 다양한 방면에서 큰 활약을 보이는
디자이너입니다. 그녀가 현재 이끌고 있는 스튜디오 우르퀴올라는 2001년 설립되었으며, 현재 여러 글로벌 기업과의 협업을 통해 자신들만의 새로운 디자인을 선보이고 있습니다. 이번 프로젝트는 그들이 가진 독창적인 디자인 아이덴티티가 더욱 돋보일 수 있는 새로운 인터랙션 디자인을 기획하였습니다. 세리프 서체 특유의 클래식한 느낌으로 제품들이 풍기는 고급스러운 이미지를 부각 시켰으며, 제품 저마다 가진 고유의 컬러들이 시선을 분산시키지 않도록 무채색 위주의 배경을 채택하여 디자인 하였습니다. 그녀의 철학인 ‘본질에 집중하면서도 한계를 넘는 디자인’을 레이아웃을 통해 담아내고 가구와 제품 위주의 디자인을 통해 그녀의 강점인 ‘직물에 대한 연구’를 더욱 부각시켰습니다.
